HOW IT WORKS

Using Estimate Assist, we will create an accurate insurance level estimate, based on the images and information you supply, using the industry standard Audatex estimating system, ensuring you optimise the potential of every repair. We offer standard estimates, supplemented estimates, and write-off estimates.

Estimate Request

Complete the estimate request form with the relevant details and send high quality images of the damage via Whattsapp.

Make Payment

Make your payment using our secure online payment platform. You will be sent a confirmation email with a Job Ref No: please keep this safe!

Await Confirmation

Once complete, we will return your estimate when compiled, usually within 6 hours or the next morning if you have submitted after 4:00pm.

SUPPLEMENTED ESTIMATES

As well as standard estimates, we can also offer supplemented estimates.

A supplement is more accurately described as a final estimate insofar as the figure should be the same as your final account/invoice to the insurance company involved, on the basis that the assessor or insurance company re-agree with that figure.

Why will a supplemented estimate be of benefit to you?

A supplement is sent to an assessor or insurance company when there are additional parts, repairs, or operations which were not evident at the initial estimate stage. Parts price increases will also require a supplemented estimate.

The use of the Audatex system to supplement any estimate brings with it all the additional time required to fit additional parts or to carry out extra repairs or operations which may become evident in the course of repairs. We also find that assessors are much more amenable to re-agreeing final account figures when they are sent by the Audatex system.

What Estimate Assist do for you!

When the repairs are complete simply send on any related invoice copies and additional supporting pictures of additional damage repairs or operations which were necessary to complete the repair.

We will then amend your initial estimate to include all parts and/or repairs required, and re-send the supplement to the assessor or insurance company involved. This way figures can be re-agreed and final account invoices paid by the insurance company much faster.

WRITE OFF ESTIMATES

Why would you need a write off estimate?

Occasionally, you may be required to provide an estimate for a vehicle that is clearly a write off or total loss. This is often requested by the insurance company, who still need a repair cost figure for their assessment.

Even though the vehicle won’t be repaired, compiling this estimate can still take up valuable time - just like it would for a repairable vehicle.

We will prepare a detailed estimate based on the information and images you provide. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful payment and will receive your estimate within 6 hours or the next morning if received after 4PM.

Please note while every effort will be made to compile an accurate estimate, it will be based on the images and information supplied. As we all know many insurance companies will attempt to “cut” a submitted estimate; however if the images and information are accurate, we find the process of agreeing figures much less of a task for repairers.

While in most cases parts prices on Audatex are correct (with the exception of Hyundai, Kia & some Mitsubishi ), it is recommended that parts prices be confirmed with the main dealer, however this can also be done on completion of the repair when submitting your final account/invoice to the insurance company or fee payer involved.
